This website, Far Country Exodus, was designed to explore the probability that, buried within the parable of the Prodigal Son, lay clues to a current event that, when completed, will eclipse the Israelite exodus from Egypt.
Most Christian’s see in this New Testament parable, the magnificent story of salvation. And that it is! Yet they miss the hidden narrative of the unfolding saga mentioned earlier, because they fail to connect this New Testament story to Old Testament prophecies.
Zechariah prophesied this emerging event millennia ago, in Zechariah 10. In this chapter, God is forthtelling the life-stories of Judah and Ephraim; their sin and subsequent scattering to the nations, and their eventual end-time return.
"When I scatter them among the peoples, They will "remember Me" in "far countries", And they with their children will live and "come back"." (Zechariah 10:9)
Now, with that Old Testament verse in mind, let’s compare it to Luke's account of the Prodigal Son.
"And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together and took his journey into a "far country," and there wasted his substance with riotous living."
"And when he "came to himself", he said… 'I will arise and "return" to my father…'" (Luke 15:13,17-18)
Some describe this event as the Second Exodus, while others call it the Greater Exodus, or the Final Exodus. On this website, we will refer to it as the Far Country Exodus. It is the end-time exit of the Hebrews from the far countries of the earth back to their Promised Land, Israel.
We have included books, articles, blogs, and videos detailing this event, and have lightly touched on some of the horrible history that has preceded it. To many in the “church,” even though prophesied by the prophet’s millennia ago, it is the greatest story most misunderstood.
